Hello all, in my business, we have Uverse come to the main modem/router, then we have an Apple AirPort Time Capsule that was turned off, then about 6 more cases of Apple AirPort turned off from Apple’s main router. All Apple routers operate in bridge mode, allowing the main AT&T modem/router to assign IP addresses, although SSID broadcasting is disabled for that.

This has worked fine, but we decided we want to enable guest networking on all Apple routers. We discovered that for this feature to work, Apple’s routers must be the ones that assign IP addresses. My question is how can I make an AT&T modem act as a pass, and let Apple’s main router assign IP addresses. I’ve done some research and only “bridge mode” appears to be disabled in AT&T versions of the firmware, but I’ve seen DMZ zones can be used.

DMZ Zones are completely outside of my networking knowledge, and I need some help to properly set up the network so that the main AT&T router doesn’t assign IP addresses anymore but leaves that to Apple’s main router. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
